Agreed - I mean, I go them charging also much for the bodily sensor and such but the $yard handles and stuff are ridiculous.

The cameras are likewise really, really unreliable. I can give blackmagic somewhat of a pass on their cameras not working because they're relatively inexpensive, but a $60k photographic camera should piece of work and... they just don't.

Who would accept thought a Crimson camera arrangement is expensive and doesn't lend itself to low budget Youtube videos. Seems similar he as well didn't read through what they were actually buying, and also has a fundamental misunderstanding of economy of scale.

Having watched a off-white amount of their videos, I doubtable the whole video is basically just a joke directed at their principal camera person who wanted the super fancy ruby-red camera.

But he also seems to be totally behind the "we don't need it to be this skilful, but it'south absurd" approach.

Of class its expensive. Its aimed at product houses and studios, not youtubers. In fact, compared to the half-a-million dollar Panavision systems some directors sling effectually, the price isn't that terrible...
